Policies
Scheduling party: To schedule your party go to the Reserve Party page and fill in information. We will contact you to discuss the arrangements after you have completed this form. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
Payment: Payment in full is expected no later than 5 days prior to the party date. Your deposit will be credited to this amount.
Number of guests: Parties are designed for 8 children including the birthday child. For an additional fee extra guests may be included. We only mail invitations to guests on the list. You may purchase additional invitations if needed. You will need to confirm guest count no later than 5 days prior to party. This total will insure that each guest has costume, favors, and craft project.
Late arrivals: We understand that occasionally there will be guests that arrive late. However, it should not be expected that we go back and re-create the activities that were missed. It is unfair to the birthday child if we are unable to proceed with planned activities.
Consent for photos: All parties attending the event consent to being included in promotional photos by their presence without compensation or liability.
Allergies: It is the responsibility of the client to make us aware of any allergies that a guest might have. Birthday Wishes & Fairytale Dreams is not responsible for allergic reactions to wearing of the costumes, cosmetics, or consumption of food and/or beverages before, during, or after party.
Participation: Children who attend the party that become difficult, ill, or do not want to participate will need to be attended to by the client or parent. This day is about the birthday child and we would like to focus our attention to making them feel special.
Travel fee: A travel fee may apply for areas outside a 40 mile radius of League City. Please check with us if you have questions about this fee.
Liability: Birthday Wishes & Fairytale Dreams assumes no liability for accidents or damages caused during the party by your guests or other persons attending. We will work to insure that your home and guests are treated with care. In the event of damage or loss of Birthday Wishes & Fairytale Dreams inventory due to misconduct by guests the client will be financially responsible. We ask that you help us remind guests and their parents of items that are not to be taken home.
Outdoor parties: There should be an alternate plan in the case of undesirable weather. There should be proper shading and tolerable temperatures if you wish to have the party outside. Please inquire as to which parties are suitable to be held outdoors.
Cancellation: If your child becomes ill or extreme weather conditions are cause for you to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate a future date. You will be responsible for the cost of replacing the cake. However, if you wish to cancel for another reason we remind you that the deposit is not refundable.
Guest list: Please do not add guests the week of the party. By this time we have placed any orders that need to be made and time will not allow for reorders.
Setting-Up: We ask that the birthday child or any other children not be present while we are setting up for party. It really takes away from the experience if children watch us prepare for party. We also would like to be able to give them our full attention and will not be able to do so during that time.
Space for setting up: Please have the room where party will take place prepared before our arrival. If you need to move furniture please do so before we get there for set-up. We usually arrive at location 1 to 2 hours before party time.
